About me
My name's David Willington and I offer GCSE and A level physics tutoring in Oughtibridge, Sheffield. After a degree in physics at Oxford and a PGCE in secondary science at Hull, I taught for 6 years in the UK and abroad, and I also worked as an examiner. I changed career and have worked in IT for the last 20 years or so, but started tutoring physics last year to help my son and his friend with their GCSEs. They did well and we all enjoyed it, so I'm offering physics tutoring again this year.
I'm happy to tutor at home in Oughtibridge, or to travel locally. I don't offer online tutoring as I think opportunities are missed in the online environment and it's harder to build relationships. I have a current DBS check.
